MISSION
It is with great excitement that we introduce to you the maiden edition of the Imo Legislative Award of Excellence, an award system by a team of Imo media and social media influencers. The committee is a non-partisan committee comprising media influencers and opinion shapers in Imo State from both the conventional media and social media, set up to recognize top performers among the 3 senators, 10 House of Representatives Members, and 27 House of Assembly Members of Imo State.
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE AWARD
- To celebrate our legislators
- To create the first ever official tracking of all Imo legislators
- To gather and provide accurate data of legislator's activities for future
- To provide a credible and effective feedback mechanism between the legislators and their constituents
- To serve as a reflective mirror to legislators on how their activities are received by their constituents and Imolites generally
- To educate constituenhts and citizens on how to rate legislative performence
- and cure misconceptions on the responbsiblities of a lawmaker.
- To reward excellence and spur our legislators for greater sucess

- Providing credible and verified data of Imo legislators' legislators
- An official online poll for Imoties to select top performing lawmakers for the awards
- A field opinion survey at the constituencies to determine our top performing legislators
- Unveiling the maiden edition of the first ever official magazine that world serve as reference document to show achievements of Imo lawmakers in print
